The OAT and Amino Acids test offers data on metabolic, nutritional, and neurological disorders. Analyzing different organic and amino acids from a urine sample, this test provides vital metrics of the possible causes and consequences of abnormalities along with nutritional data.
These tests provide a very broad range of information. The OAT can illuminate issues with energy production, gut dysbiosis, nutrient deficiencies, neurotransmitter balance, and more. The Amino Acid test helps identify deficiencies in specific categories of amino acids relating to detoxification, thyroid and endocrine health, and more.
Great Plains also offers add-on option to test for Toxins, Mycotoxins (from mold exposure), and Glyphosate. Each of these may be a helpful addition if toxic exposure is suspected.
