Dr. Beverly Goode is osteopathic physician who practices holistic medicine. An osteopath is a physician who is trained and licensed the same as an MD. However, they receive additional training in the manipulation of the spine. Dr. Goode is Board Certified in Family Practice and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. She has been practicing for over 20 years.
Dr. Goode now practices holistic medicine, which means that the patient is considered as a "whole". The cause of disease is investigated and corrected rather than just treating the symptoms. She became interested in holism after discovering that her severe migraine headaches, muscle and joint pain, female troubles and obesity were the result of food allergies, hormone imbalance and nutrient deficiencies. By changing her diet and taking the correct vitamin supplements and natural hormones, a radical change occurred in her life. She was free of the debilitating pain that plagued her; she was no longer tired all the time; and she became fit. Dr Goode began helping her patients, utilizing the techniques that she learned to solve her own health problems, and has seen remarkable results.
